I have no clue how to use "hirens boot CD", still HALAP.

With the hirens boot cd image you need to make a bootable cd or usb flash drive.

How to make a bootable flash drive?

  1. Download this amazing free tool http://rufus.akeo.ie .
  2. Run it.
  3. In the "Create bootable disk using" drop-down list select ISO image.
  4. Select your ISO (Hirens boot CD) with the button that's next to the "Create bootable disk using" drop-down list
  5. Make sure that device selected is your flash drive (top drop-down list)
  6. Press start.

After that restart your PC and boot from your flash drive. Everything else should be self-explanatory.

I am looking for the following programs which I will need to be able to use before the OS boots from an USB flash drive, any suggestions?

 

The following programs are needed :

 

HDD tester

CPU tester

RAM tester

 

I prefer not to use software that combines them all.

Download hirens 15.2, and load it onto a CD. Boot into that CD when the computer turns on. There are test for all of these. Seagate Seatools is a great HDD test and memtest86+ is a great memory tester. And for navigating hirens, just google it, it is quite complicated.
