Good balanced config, however did you considered an AMD config?

By the way, i'd try to get a 1TB Hard drive and a 1TB SSD.

I'd:

  • Switch to AMD (unless you need Adobe); go for a 3700X
  • Go for a 32GB 3600MHz kit
  • Change the 500GB SSD + 2TB HDD combo for a 1TB SSD + 1TB HDD combo or a 2TB SSD if you can afford it

Other than that, looks good!

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux
