Hi, my little brother has saved up for a new PC, and as I am the one who will be planning and building it, I'm trying to figure out what hardware would be best for it.

1. Budget & Location

He has currently saved up around 400€ but would be willing to save up another 200€ or so if necessary (would be great if you could suggest two builds, one for 400 and one for 600€). He lives in Austria and would purchase all the parts here.

2. Aim

The main and pretty much only thing the PC will be used for (apart from surfing the internet, using office etc.) is gaming, it should be able to run any upcoming next-gen games such as "Tom Clancy's The Division" or "Dragon Age: Inquisition", aswell as "DayZ" and "ArmA 3" stable at above 30 FPS on max graphic settings in FullHD.Would be great if the games ran at ~60 FPS, but that's not necessary.

3. Monitors

One 1080p monitor should be fine.

4. Peripherals

None are needed, Win7 would be nice but isn't necessary.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Not upgrading, I'm building an entire PC, his current one can't ever run source games.

Hardware:

Now, for the hardware, I see 3 options:

a ) best AMD APU without a GPU (but with the option to add one)

b ) decent AMD CPU with mid-tier AMD GPU

c ) best AMD APU with cheap AMD APU

mATX or mITX are the preferred formats but ATX is ok too.

I didn't include a monitor, so to save some money instead of putting in a 750K and R9 270 you could get a A10 - 7700K or A10 - 7850K and use intigrated graphics.  Also, if you decide to not get an APU you don't nee 2400MHz ram.  If you do get an APU (like the A10 - 7850K) make sure to get fast ram (if it isn't overpriced in Austria).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
