Hey all, at the moment i appear to be getting a few BSODs once a night or so on my rig. Bluescreenview reports it to be coming from ntoskrnl.exe and sometimes cmudaxp.sys. Now i know that cmudaxp is my audio driver, but most of the time my PC bsod only with ntoskrnl as the problem. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? ive tried a reinstall of Windows, No overclock on CPU and RAM, a diffrent OS (being Windows8). Ran memtest for 10 passes no errors found. Anybody got any other things i could try?

Specs in Sig and Profile.

More like corrupt drivers. try safe mode. If still crashes, reinstall Windows.

Have you tried unplugging the bad HDD? You could also try memtest86+, I suggest running it throught Hirens 15.2, also you could use Seagate Seatools through Hirens to really test your HDDs. Also Seagate Seatools works on most HDDs.

cheers mane, theres very little on the drive anyway so ill try it with the drive out first, and if that fixes it. ill just leave it unplugged, if it doesnt fix it i shall try seagatetools and report back. thanks

had this issue on Windows 8.1 with beta drivers & Nvidia drivers, sold my 2 670's for a 290 havent had a single BSOD since then.

Head over to MS forums save the dump files and let them help out, but the general for windows 8 /8.1 is beta driver issues and nvidia drivers
