How do i fix this bent pcie bracked (i don't think thats what its called) on this powercolour red devil rx570 4gb

Pliers.  THat's what I've used in the past.

Any good substitutes for pliers, lost mine a while ago

Put the bent part flat on the table, then take something hard, and push it down till it's flat again.

Come on, don't do that.

 

Pliers are the tool purposefully created for this type of thing.  Get the right tool for the job.

 

Besides, they're cheap.  Go get a pair of pliers and do it right.

Wouldn't recommend it either.  With pliers, you can sort of control where it bends, and you maintain fine control over the situation at every step.  With a hammer, not only are you swinging imprecisely, both in terms of aim and force, but the impact will cause the material to bend wherever it feels like, which may or may not actually be where you want it to bend.  You will more than likely just end up with two bends rather than undoing the one you started with.

Its not that i don't want to buy plier, ots just there isn't any stores close to me that aare open cause its 8pm for me

I took your advice and didn't use a hammer as the only one i have is a sledge hammer. I used the bottom of my ikea lamp and a pair of scissors, IT WORKED FLAWLESSLEY !!!

Trust me that's just the tip of the iceberg, i had a 2.5 year running tech channel then was the definition of unconventional and bordering on mentally unstable 

 

Also experiencing 144hz for the first time, anything i should try out ???
