Hey guys,

Today I finally received my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro's and the SMSL SA M3 DAC/AMP to power these. I already had a Blue Yeti USB Mic, which worked perfectly in the past.

Now comes the issue. For some reason, whenever I have my SMSL SA M3 connected to my PC, my PC is unable to find the Blue Yeti Microphone. I tried to update the drivers, to no avail.

I even checked the BIOS to see whether I got a usb signal, and it was not there, only after I unplugged the AMP/DAC the Yeti showed up as connected to the PC. However, even if I have the SMSL SA M3 disconnected the Yeti does not work anymore, despite working perfectly before. The microphone does get powered, as the lights turn on, but it does not register my voice.

I am absolutely at a loss, and I have no clue what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

That’s really wierd.

however I must admit something similar happened to me before, took me month to figure out the issue. For me the issue is my cpu is not 100% stable.

if you have any overclock on cpu and ram, i suggest u try saving that profile first, then revert to default bios, and try it again.

also do u mean the device is not showing up in device manager

Yes I am overclocking my CPU, but that is stable.
It does show up under the device manager at times, I downloaded blue's software to update the drivers (despite trying it before in device manager) but their program says there is no microphone.. The microphone did not show up in the BIOS, I have the Z97 Gaming 7 which has a function to show exactly what is attached to what port, and there was nothing while being connected.

I will surely try reverting to default settings, hope that works.

That's what I'm telling you. My overclock was also stable, I can run any benchmark no problem. But it was the overclock
