Ok, so I should just stick to 1080p for higher fps so it can keep up with the 144hz? Plus the lg has HDR which is nice. And if I upgrade my pc in the future to a ryzen 5 3600x and x570 motherboard, will 650w be enough?

Well, that's just my preference, because I just like the brand. If you can, maybe go to a computer shop and check out the monitor to see if it is to your liking. You can search the forum for broader perspective. To be fair, I don't own an LG gaming monitor, but I do own an LG 29" HDR ultra wide monitor, and the colour is quite good.

Ryzen 5 3600X and X570 consume about 150W. You might need more for your graphic card, though. Generally, 650W is enough if you are not heavily overclocking your system. Of course, that also depends on what devices, such as HDD, fans, water pumps and peripherals, you want to plug in. Be sure to get 80 Plus Gold PSU.

I'm planning to get a new monitor on black friday and I would like some advice for my purchase, my budget is around 400$ to 500$ CAD.

Here are some of my options (feel free to link me other ones):

https://www.amazon.ca/Asus-VG279Q-Monitor-FreeSync-Adaptive/dp/B07KXHTRT5/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=asus+144hz+ips&qid=1570402874&sr=8-1

https://www.amazon.ca/LG-27GL650F-B-Ultragear-Monitor-Refresh/dp/B07R7636MH/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=lg+144hz+ips&qid=1570402894&sr=8-1

Is it worth it for me to go for 1440p?

https://www.amazon.ca/Non-Glare-Adjustment-FreeSync-Optix-MAG271CQR/dp/B07RPFZPS9/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=msi+1440p&qid=1570402962&sr=8-1

Here are my computer specs, I'm planning to upgrade in the near future to a x570 motherboard (or x470 or even b550 when they come out) and a ryzen 5 3600x (or ryzen 5 3600, or even ryzen 7 2700x):

Motherboard: asrock B350 gaming k4

CPU: ryzen 5 1600

GPU: rx 5700 xt

RAM: 16gb gskill ripjaws 3200mhz

Storage: 240gb ssd sandisk, 1tb wd hardrive

PSU: corsair tx650m 650w

Cooler: Wraith spire with led

Case: Phanteks P400s

-PS: Is 650w enough for my upgrade? (I think it is, just making sure)

Sorry for the questions, thank you to people who answer.

I guess any monitor should work fine, but do you have any specific features you were looking for, such as fast refresh rate or HDR?

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

144hz, freesync and an IPS pannel preferably for 1080p. If there are any 1440p monitors at least a VA pannel, 144hz and freesync. HDR isn't a must for me and 24 or 27 inches is more than fine. I'm open to suggestions, thanks for answering :D.

Usually, I'll go with LG, because I like the brand (not the best, but high reputation). However, some LG high refresh rate monitor may be blurry. Depends on your preference, you may love it or hate it.
