RGB LED replacement

So I just realized that one of my LED in my keyboard is not working properly. Upon inspection I came to the conclusion that the green light or diode [whatever it is called] is not working. The switch is fine and blue light does work from the same LED. It's just the green that's gone bad.

My keyboard is Motospeed CK104 Outemu Blue. Can I replace the LED or something???

I really want it to work properly. It's kind of an OCD thing for me that the LED on one switch is not working.

Please advice.

Get an RMA. The LEDs on RGB keyboards are usually SMD, so don't expect to be able to do anything.

Can't, it's outta warranty period. Isn't there any solution I can go with?

Not really. The LEDs are tiny and SMD, so replacing them will be difficult.

Open it up. The last one I opened used a 1616 RGB-LED.

I'll look into it.

That's nonsense. They are difficult to change, not that expensive.

My friend had similar problem, local electrician was reluctant to do it, but after checking it out he did it in a half an hour or so, not sure, asked 10 euros for it, but it really depends on the guy.

you might be able to find some guy that can do it cheap but i would think that it will require skills to solder and need equipment to see what your doing. guys on here were talking about having troubles soldering 2020 smd so if its even smaller than that might be even harder. but im not expert so w/e the smd should be cheap it self.

I'll ask my local electrician if he could change it or not. If it's too expensive, I guess I'll have to do it with a bad LED.
