Hello, I want to build my first PC. I don't expect it run all games on top settings and honestly I wont be playing many high performance games. It will be used for basic gaming and photo editing.

I'm also trying to keep it around my budget at £350 ($430).

APU - Ryzen 5 2400G - USED - £80 ($98)

(+ Arctic Alpine AM4 CO Heatsink - £12 ($15)

RAM - 2 x 8GB DDR4 2400MHz - USED - £50 ($61)

MOTHERBOARD - ASRock B450M Pro4 - £70 ($86)

BOOT DRIVE - Crucial 120GB SSD - £21 ($26)

STORAGE - Seagate 1TB Barracuda HDD - £35 ($43)

PSU - Corsair VS450 Active - £39 ($48)

CASE -Thermaltake Versa H15 - £30 ($37)

I was just wondering if this was a good build for what I wanted and what sort of performance I could expect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

get thsi cooler instead,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MFVG2BY/?tag=pcp0f-21

and get a larger ssd, and perhaps no hdd. a 500GB ssd should be around 50-60USD.

Also get a seasonic focus gold for only a little more

everything else is good.

low speed ram is not great for gaming, double not great since you're using integrated graphics which is far more sensitive to memory bandwidth.

you could get a CX450 which would be a much better choice for not much more money.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Honestly, if you're trying to save money and the CPU comes with the stock cooler, stick with that. It's not half bad and would allow you to get some DDR4-3000 or DDR4-3200 speed memory instead which will definitely benefit Ryzen
