Whats up everyone!

Putting together my first build and want to make sure I am on the right track. Came into the parts by luck, a couple for presents and just deals from other friends that were upgrading.

What I have right now:

Case: NZXT H500i

Board: Asus Prime Z370-A

CPU: i7-8700k

G card: EVGA 1070ti

RAM: Gskill Ripjaws DDR4-3200 (2x8GB)

Are all the above parts compatible?

Below is where I am having the most trouble:

Memory: I am planning on moving the hard drives from the PC I have now (pre-built Dell from Best Buy) will this work?

Power Supply: no idea on this, could you guys help me out and let me know which wattage I need to purchase?

Cooler: I am leaning towards the NZXT Kraken X62, will this be alright?

Sorry for all the questions folks. Getting into this the first time has seemed a bit overwhelming but I am excited to put it all together. Thank you in advance for the help!!

Just buy a new SSD and put your OS on that. The 500GB 660p is cheap

The kraken coolers are overpriced and I'd stick to air cooling in general, like a Scythe Fuma 2

This PSU just happens to be cheap right now

This one is a bit nicer overall.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

if you're concerned about compatibility, use PCPartPicker.com. In general, the site is really useful for part lists anyway.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

For a good quality and cheap air cooler.... can't go wrong with the trusty old Hyper 212 Evo... I had that on my 5 GHz 8700k (at 1.300 v) and it never got over 85c under synthetic benchmarks, mid 60's in games...
