Basic NAS Setup

Hi I'm planning to buy a NAS enclosure, partly becuase I want the 3.5mm drive out of my case (so I can completely take out the cages) and I also want my girlfriend to be able to access the hard drive easily over the network.

 

I was thinking about just taking the 3tb drive out of my system (Seagate Barracuda), buying a 2 bay NAS enclosure, possibly this one http://www.dabs.com/products/synology-ds213j-2-bay-desktop-nas-8PNZ.html?q=nas&src=16, and then buy another 3tb drive to backup onto.

 

I've never had a NAS before so any recommendations of better setups would be helpful. Thanks.
