Gaming rig for 800 USD

Hello LTTians,

Need suggestion for a gaming rig for ~800 usd, I won't be editing or stream with the PC, only a gaming rig which can handle 1080p, and also I've a Corsair VS550 PSU lying around which I want to use for this build or would I need a new PSU itself, please I'm open for suggestion, thanks in advance.

vs550 is a well known psu, its fine just as a spare psu

I was going to play the game of pcpartpicker and a budget, saw this list, yeah I can't top that.

 

Only thing is, case is subjective (this one I think is fine), and what other corners can you cut to get more budget to the GPU? And do you need more budget to it? This is really balanced, PSU, Case, SSD, can't really go smaller, what is the next up in GPU *checks*

 

Oh it's basically a 2070 Super, 5700XT, nah, because a 5700 you can get more performance out of, next on my YT queue is a video from Hardware Unboxed where it says +10% more performance from a RX5700. Yeah I can't top this build, go for it.

just good advice, avoid that board. if its one board that consistantly has issues reported on this forum, its that board.

you can cut about 30$ from Ram and go down to 8gb total. you can also cut the PSU and use the VS he has, but id suggest avoid doing so. in the end the increase in budget doesnt yield a lot of gains for what you trade away.
