Hey everyone, I've had recently a problem that is driving me pretty much crazy at this point. For the past couple months, I've had a bit of a problem with my memory usage. The memory was filling up quite fast and I've had a problem with using multiple applications. In the last 4 days, the problem got even bigger. I tried everything I could find on the internet and nothing seems to work. I scanned my whole system for viruses with multiple antimalware softwares. I tried to change some stuff in registry system but nothing is working. It seems like all apps are taking up way more memory space than they should. Other than that it seems like there's some processes I can't see in Resource Monitor that are tahink up A LOT of memory space. At this point I really don't know what is going on with my computer. Also I did windows memory tests, according to test, everything is fine. Just to clarify: Here are my specs:
16gb RAM DDR3
i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
GTX 1080 TI

Windows 10 pro

I will be very helpful if anyone can help me here. Thanks!

Hi @magicplayer525

What is your memory usage after a fresh boot?

Make sure fastboot is disabled as this actually never will kill applications while restarting your computer. This can cause some applications to stay in memory forever and cause all kind of issues *cough* Excel and Outlook *cough*

Have you checked your autostart applications? Maybe you can disable a few? Can you also post a print screen of your memory usage tab in taskmanager after you have checked the points below?

So in summary

1. Disable fastboot and reboot PC

2. Check idel use after fresh boot

3. Check autostart items and try to disable a few
