Heating

Okay so I have a zephyrus G. When I pop it into windows mode, the Asus armory crate says my cpu is around 60c. But previously it has said it was around 40c. Is something wrong with my laptop to have it hit 60 while idling?

"Idel" is a vague term even more when Windows updates or your Virus scanner decides to kick into gears in the backgrounds. Have seen some laptops taking off while doing Windows updates. Cooling will ramp up like crazy and they can get quite hot in the progress. When it does not get to 90c or so then you're fine.

yep, i did an update to GPU and for some reason it stopped the ridiculous heating problem. I mean at Idle i was literally hitting 70C and eating my battery. now its back to its normal 46 C. Thanks
