THE BEAST v3.0 - FX 8350 to Ryzen 5 2600 UPGRADE COMPLETE

Chronified

Finally time to do my upgrade! I've been waiting way too long for this!

The Beast (computer name) has finally been upgraded to V3.0 (V3.1 will be a new case)

Parts of choice:
Aorus B450 Pro Wifi Mini ITX motherboard

Ryzen 5 2600

16GB of 3200Mhz G.Skill Trident Z memory

Some black electrical tape around my 24 pin connector, the ketchup+mustard ends stood out like a sore thumb!

Some of the tightest cable management I've ever done! It turned out great!

RGB disabled, all set to white. Looks very professional!
No photo description available.

Quick and Easy OC. Set the frequency to the max boost (4.0Ghz) and locked the voltage to the stock (1.350v)

Increased my Cinebench R20 score almost 50% !! 2095 > 3052

No photo description available.

Nice and stable, ran a stress test overnight and the CPU was only sitting at 62'c when I woke up.

My Coolermaster Masterliquid Lite 120mm will continue to do the job perfectly for me for years to come!

Very happy with my upgrade, total cost was $508 Canadian from Newegg.ca

Ryzen 5 2600 = $174.98, 48% off the original $299 price

G.Skill Trident Z 3200mhz = $109

Gigabyte B450 I Aorus Pro WiFi = $159

Could have went cheaper on the motherboard but I'm planning on upgrading my case to a NZXT H200 series case or a Phanteks Evolv Shift before LTX next year, hence why I'm not making use of my RGB header on my MB.

Full list of parts is in my signature.

Let me know your thoughts. I'll see you guys when I upgrade cases for V3.1 !
