G502 Hero doesn't work with USB 3+

When I plug my G502 Hero into a usb 3.1 or 3.0 slot the mouse doesn't get picked up by Windows. I have to use a type-C to type-A adapter or my keyboards built in hub.

What gives?

CPU: Core i7-8750H 6c/12t GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6G RAM: 32GB 2666 MHz Display: 144Hz 3ms OS: Windows 11 Home

Try increasing/decreasing the polling rate in the Logitech software

My G602 was set to 125RPS (reports per second) and wouldn't pick up on my desktop (Only USB 3.0+) until I used it on my laptop and set it to 500RPS

MB: Gigabyte B450 I Aorus Pro WiFi

RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600mhz CL16 (1-to-1 Infinity Fabric enabled)

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super

*bought for $200 CAD off a friend who needed an RTX 3080, price was my reward.

CASE: InWinn A1 Plus in White with included 600w gold sfx PSU and included custom length cables

DISPLAY: 3x 20" AOC 1080p 60hz 4ms ,  32" RCA 1080p/60hz TV mounted above, all on a single arm.

I have it set to 1000 and that would mean that it would either work, or have low polling rate.
