Hello guys,

I had same problem while I was on my older rig. I had i5 2500, r7 360. I thought it was termals so changed thermal paste and it went away.

But I got new rig.

Ryzen 5 3600, rog strix b450, rx580 nitro.

Only two (3) things I left were ssd hdd and the case.

Problem is that pc freezes in game, when I alt tab it shows toolbar and programs but doesnt switch to them then I restart pc get in game and it does it again, but while in windows it doesnt happen. I think problems are in ssd or hdd but  catalystdisk info says they are in good condition.

Can you give me some help?

I might have a solution for you, i have experienced this problem my self. I first thought it was something hardware wise but i figured that wasn't the case. After hours of searching online i found that in my case it was a wrong installed windows update (kb2267602 security update). I fixed the problem by unistalling al the security updates and let windows reinstall them.

A different fix could be unistalling all videocard drivers and reinstalling the newest drivers. If you have any overclocks running turn them off (this could also cause system failure)

Hm. First of all the basic error solving steps:

Windows 10? Is it up to date?

Graphics driver and other drivers up to date?

BIOS up to date?

All the latest updates. Had to flash bios cuz of 3600 not supporting old bios?
