Grab a RX 570 for dirt cheap and it will go well with your CPU and what not.  If you upgrade in future things will be much much faster.  The card won't give you all the frame rate it can dish out coupled with that CPU, so when you upgrade one day things will be blazing fast.

He wants to upgrade that card, AMD radeon RX 5602gb

You also want to consider a power supply upgrade. The included one is quite shitty and may overload and kill something with a higher power card.

You can get an RX 570 8GB for $149.99 on Amazon brand new, it would pair well with the 2300X. However I would upgrade the PSU in that PC as well.

I honestly have no idea what you're taking about. There will be absolutely not issues with a 2300X and a 570. A CPU upgrade won't so almost anything for him.

The 1300x doesn't even bottleneck the 570, so the 2300x should be perfectly fine.

He's probably looking at some site like gpucheck and assuming their bottlenecking guestimates are accurate. (that site says it'll drop performance by 18.6FPS or 30% with the 2300) Totally absurd, but people believe it for some reason.

Well, it is somewhat decent for comparative viewing, it's just blowing the CPU side of things way out of proportion.

Nope, it's utter bullcrap the same as PSU calculators. It's really something that should be illegal considering how wrong and fearmongering it is
