remember that my old setup ran perfectly.. but i am having issues.

Running a XG16 switch.

Running 2 pc´s a 4790k and a 8700k so horsepower should be enough

the server has a Asus XG-C100F and the main pc the C(copper) version, i know these are not the PRIME cards, but i do know they should work better.

it has been setup in my office, until it is ready for server room installation, a 3 meter DAC cable SFP+ approve for UNIFI 10gbtek, tried a 0.5 meter also... and a CAT6A cable, tried a CAT6 and a CAT 5e get the same results in all.

Iperf3 gets me, 1.8-2Gbit transfer, in a NVME to NVME transfer i peak out at 2.5Gbit, but still far from .. perfect, tried jumbo frames, recieve packets transmit packets, nothing seems to work.. still ... this really poor result

sorry guys.. i was the ASSHAT here..

i sat in my tears.. (not really) getting a cold pepsi max... and the 2.5Gbit riddled me.. then i looked into bus speeds, and the gigabit card was running X1 on the server.. into the X16 port with it.. and now i have.. 7.2Gbit, and that is actually fine, since it was not the NVME but an SSD + an Ironwolf, så 550MB/Sec plus a 250MB/Sec drive... so it seems to work.

guess i NEED a Threadripper now, because of lack of PCI-E Lanes.. getting older at 41 i get a bit angry at my self for not getting the solution right away.

1920x hmm.. yes it is old, but cheap, or wait for the gen 3.... i know what my wife would say ... "STOP USING ALL OUR MONEY" ... guess that means gen 3...
