Connecting the GPU using two, consequtive riser cables

MiNTZ

Hey, I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .

Is it possible to connect a GPU using two consequtive PCI-E risers (for example when just one is too short)? If it is possible, does it decrease performance and is it safe?

Thanks!
