I forgot my original password. Anyway to reset the password?

You can reset you password here (only if you have the original password, perhaps it auto fills for you?): https://linustechtips.com/main/settings/password/

otherwise you probably have to log out and do like the 'forgot my password, send one to my email' things. Perhaps don't log out to do that, but do it in an incognito window.

I'll just have to make a new account. forgot password to email too. Too many passwords to remember nowadays. Thanks anway

You can change your email address here, not sure if that works without knowing your current password:

I know having multiple accounts is not permitted here (unless with explicit permission).

Might I suggest a password manager? You only need to remember a single password, the one to your main database.

There's plenty of good free ones out there like Keepass 2.

If you prefer a "cloud", browser based solution, there's LastPass, but those are usually Paid products.
