So i have a gtx 650 2GB by leadtek and i overclocked it a little bit with msi afterburner but i still have bad fps and the card gets to about 74 degrees.

the minimum for dead by daylight is (and i quote it from steam): DX11 Compatible GeForce GTX 460 1GB or AMD HD 6850 1GB.

i also have 98% GPU usage and 30%-40% CPU usage (i5 3550).

im planning on getting a 1660 ti gaming oc or 2060 gaming oc pro soon but i would like to know what can cause this issue?

big thanks to da homies that are helping :D

Your gpu just isn't strong enough. 98% usage means that pretty much the whole gpu is being used, so that is all good. What resolution and graphics settings are you trying to play at?

Keep in mind that minimum requirements are usually for 720p all low, 20-30fps. Bare minimum for the game to work.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

i know that my gpu isn't strong enough but is playing on 1080p with low settings.

i get 10-25 fps while the card is overclocked a bit.

Yes, but because you said that the gpu is used 98%, i don't think that it is throttling problem.

What is your in game render scale?

It's in the render settings.

But here are my closing points:

Your gpu is really weak, so can't expect much from it, no matter how much you overclock. You could try playing at 50% render scale, but that is about it.

Here, it is 40% slower than the minimum required gpu for DBD:
