you can't have a dvd writer with the H440, there is no 5.25 inch bay. However you can pick up an external dvd reader for <20$

The 780 Ti is not worth the money (IMO). So I "downgraded" to a 780, which will still be wickedly fast.

Also, I put 2x 120GB SSDs b/c they will look better in the mounts on the H440. Otherwise, it's an epic build.

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2MJzY
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2MJzY/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($209.99 @ Amazon) (same cpu as your suggestion... you could get a 4770k for your build though since you have the money)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($74.99 @ Amazon) (awesome looking all in one water loop)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($149.99 @ Microcenter) (better looking and less overpriced z87 black and red board)
Memory: Kingston Blu Red Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($79.99 @ Microcenter) (absolutely stunning looking red ram, I own a couple sticks myself. Pictures cannot do it justice)
Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB 2.5" Solid State Disk  ($149.99 @ Amazon) (840 EVO is a better drive, but this is still a good one and I think the darker color scheme would fit better especially since you mount SSDs in a very visible spot with the H440)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($86.54 @ Amazon) (generic no frills drive)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card  ($709.99 @ Newegg) (black and red direct CUII cooler... cools better than the stock 780 ti cooler)
Case: NZXT H440 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($119.99 @ NCIX US) (same black and red case)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($74.99 @ Microcenter) (great deal for a well built power supply. and there's a motherfreaking 10 year warranty! not to mention evga has great customer support. Also, the cables for the power supply are sleeved red and black which is perfect for your build!)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - OEM (64-bit)  ($89.99 @ NCIX US) (Windows 8 looks better, and performs better in game. Start screen is not even the default anymore, it just boots to desktop. No reason to get windows 7 in this day and age at all. You'll like it, I swear, you just need to get adjusted a little)
Total: $1746.45
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Do you have any pictures besides the one in the PCPartPicker thing of those fans?
