I'm having trouble keeping the high temperatures at bay I have an 8700k 1.2v and 4.4ghz at idle it's about 33 degrees on the hottest core but on load I get about 70 degrees on the hottest core I'm using a nh d15 may thermal paste application is fine i even reapplied the thermal paste so it might have something to do with how the fans are setup? I have an 3 fans blowing out air 1 on the back and 2 at the top and 3 fans blowing in air at the front.

an AIO wont really do much for you in this case, the NH-D15 is cream of the crop when it comes to air cooling. Remove the front top (closest to the front of the case) fan as it could be pulling healthy clean air from the CPU before it reaches the cooler.

I'll remove that see if that helps and I know nh d15 is the best and better than aio but if the air cooler is struggling to get fresh air than won't an aio fix that problem?

Your temps are normal, all things considered. It's hot chip to begin with. What's your room temp? What load you get that temp at? Changing to small AIO doesn't change anything. You would need 280mm dual or triple rad to gain something.

70c isn't high.

What rpm are you running your fans at?
