Browser stuttering after 1903 update

Hi, I'm using Torch browser (Chrome-based) and ever since I updated Windows to 1903 two days ago (followed by some small .NET framework updates), the browser has started to stutter incessantly. It's obviously most apparent when I'm watching YouTube (or any online video) though its still there even when I'm browsing text-only pages - I can see the stutter when I'm scrolling. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling the browser with the latest version, didn't help. The Nvidia drivers for my GPU are also the latest (have been since before the stutter started, and before 1903 update. They're the MW Beta-ready version).

I have noticed the stuttering does not happen on any other browser (Edge, Chrome working fine), but I've been using Torch for years and all my logins & bookmarks are saved on it, so I'd prefer to fix it rather than switch browser at this point.

Any other users of Torch out there facing a similar problem after 1903? Or anyone facing the same issue with any other browser after said update?

Have you tried rolling back the update? Windows makes it pretty easy because of this becoming a common occurrence.

I'd roll back, then every time you realize Torch updates, try the update again. It could likely be a Torch comparability issue, I don't imagine their Dev team is too big and can keep up with monthly security patches.

If rolling back does fix it, just set your network as a metered connection, it makes windows think you're on a data cap so it doesn't automatically download updates.

Well right now I'm looking for possible solutions to the stutter. If I end up with nothing, then rolling back would be the only option.

The update took some 1.5 hours installing/configuring...I wouldn't want to sit through that again if I can avoid it :)
