Samsung galaxy j7 screen not responsive after the latest software update

Hello! 

So my friend has a Samsung galaxy j7 and his screen started being unresponsive after the newest software update. 

His screen was replaced once and before the update the screen was working just fine. 

While searching for a solution I found out that other people were having the same problem. 

So is there a way to fix it or do I have to downgrade the version? (also if I do have to downgrade the version, can you give me a link to how to do it because I've never done it before and I have absolutely no idea how to do it)

you should try connecting the phone to computer and search for a corrupted file and finding the same phone and replacing the file
