XBox 1 Wired Headsets?

I originally used a Logitech G633 and after 5-6 years it finally died. I bought a Corsair VOID Pro Surround but it does not work with XBox1 despite being advertised as compatible. (No sound even though it is detected, tried every possible connection).

 

Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations for a good Wired Headset for XBOX 1, with a budget of $100 USD. I stress the WIRED part, I don't do Wireless; ever.

 

1. Must be Wired

2. Probably don't want to buy another G633, cables died excessively quick if bent or pulled the wrong way just a little.

The void Pros do work, just have to plug them into the controller. I have a pair and just tested them like 2 days ago on my setup.

I did, and I did not get any sound output at all. I scrolled the volume wheel up and down, I restarted the console, I went through every possible device and controller settings, never got any sound output.

Strange, I know mine worked just fine and I have a wired set of Void Pros. Is your audio output set to Headphones? Can you take pictures of your audio output settings from your XB1

Same thing, I just don't pay for Dolby Atmos.

Strange. Do you have another 3.5mm headset you can plug in and see if you get audio out? Like a set of ear buds or something?

Not at this moment, but all audio works fine through the speakers on the TV, and my previous headset was working fine with the same controller, until it died obviously.

im starting to think maybe the headset isnt the problem then? Do you have a different controller you can test with? Speakers you can plug into the controller? Did you test the other headset on a different machine like a PC to see if it gives you any output?

No other controller. No speakers. Old Headset worked 100% on PC and on XBox but it died of old age, it was almost 6 1/2 years old. Every piece of hardware and all the software settings remain exactly the same as they were. The VOID Pro Surround is literally the only thing I had issues with, which is why I'm looking for recommendations, I've already started the Return Process with Amazon to get rid of the Void Pro.

I would get another pair of the Void Pros then myself. I know for me, the USB portion doesn't work on the XB1, it will only work when I have the headset plugged into the controller.
