rx480 to? gpu upgrade

planning to upgrade my gpu, what should i get was thinking of gtx 1070 or 1080
but id have to check if its available nearby local shop. any other options i should check?

mobo - x470 aorus gaming 7 wifi
proc - ryzen 7 2700x

gpu - msi rx480 8gb

ssd - samsung 850evo 500gb
hdd - TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB
cooler - nzxt kraken x62

psu - seasonic m12 evo series 750w

ram - ram(8/8gb 3200mhz corsair)
monitor - viewsonic xg2401
case - nzxt s340 elite

RTX 2060 at least, if not the 2060 Super and RX5700.

1080p 144Hz Freesync? I'd say GTX 1660Ti or RTX 2060. As for AMD, RX 590 isn't worth it compared to the RX 480/580 so the choices would be an RX vega 56 or the RX 5700.

say rtx 2060 and rx 5700
both are better price wise compare to a bnew 1080 right? or its worth the price diff the 1080

then 1080 is overrpiced because it's discontinued. They are in the same performance range.
