Ive been tol Prime95 isnt good for Haswell or above

Is there one i could use that can stress just as much?

 

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Corsair H105, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite, Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600MHz, EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3, Samsung 850 Pro / WD SN850 / OCZ Trion 150

Aida64, paid program. There is a trial version though.

Intel XTU also has a built in stress test.

 

Though I see no problem in using prime95.
IDK how you define "is not good for" but it will stress your CPU to its maximum and it wont damage anything unless temps or voltages are too high. Or you run it for several weeks on loop for w/e reason.
In terms of OC stability, one single stresstest will never give you a guaranteed 100% stable system, no matter which one you choose. Every workload is different and even if you go through a 24h prime95 loop, there is no guarantee that the system wont crash in 3dmark physics test.

That's not true for Haswell it can dump 1.5v+ in your CPU and kill it instantly. I'm not sure if that is still true but it was back in the day. But I agree AIDA64 and XTU are better and more realistic

Well, that was actually new to me but still just yet another point towards why one should always monitor not only temperature but also voltage.


Though I would assume that by now this voltage-spike issue would be fixed by both the prime95 devs as well as the hardware manufacturers.
Or by users who use manual voltage ;)
