1440p <27 inch

why are there no 144hz monitors under 27 inches (dont want 27inch) that are IPS?

if laptop displays can get 1080p 144hz in 15 inches, why cant you get 24 inch 144 hz ips panels? thats a lower ppi than the laptop ones

There is no consumer base for those 25A" inches or less monitors.  Everything is better just 27" as the defacto in companies and users here on LTT.  Anything smaller would be for CS:GO and what not.

All "brands" on the industrie realistically wants to have as little models as possible even if it doesn't seem like that often, there are costs involved at release a product and every new model is a chance not to be worth the investment.

So they will focus market trends, what sells the most? 2560x1440p144hz at 27 inches is taken as one of the best and most sold right now, so they will focus that.

1920x1080p144hz is something you'll see on 24 inch monitor because it's a good resolution for the screen size and that allows cheaper costs for everyone involved.

It would not be strange for them to skip high end IPS technology on 1080p panels though since in a way it really is the "cheaper route" where you're focus is also competitive games making TN fine.

Laptops are a different thing altogether I don't think should be used as reference to desktop.
