dell xps l502x help

I have a dell xps L502X (Old laptop) and all the display outs except the hdmi (which crashes with blue screens, screen tuning a random colour, or it saying the kernel driver has crashed and successfully recovered) are connected to the integrated gpu. Is there a way for me to passthrough the discrete gpu, a 540m, through my i7-2670qm?

 

P.s. It may already be doing this I don't know and thermals are fine.
