Weird Crashing

Hello. Whenever I play a game for about half an hour the game freezes and crashes.  After a game crashes once it won't crash again for hours on end as long as my computer stays on. If the game crashes and I restart my computer it will crash the game within half an hour. When I look in event viewer after the crashes it always says "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered ". I removed my driver with DDU and installed a newer driver for my rx 480 without success. Any suggestions?

Is Enhanced Sync turned on? If so, make sure it is turned off -- there have been a lot of issues with that lately on the 5700 [XT] cards and could be related if the 480 is affected also.

It was set on "Off, unless application specifies."
