Windows constant connect/disconnect noise

Hello,

 

I have a device on my computer that's constantly connecting and disconnecting. I don't think it's external, because I've disconnected every cable except for the spidf cable, and it still makes the noises. I've narrowed it down to this device here:

 

Google says the device is a Genesys Logic, Inc. Hub, but that's not terribly helpful. Anyone faced a similar issue and know what might be causing it?

 

Here's my computer specs:

Ryzen 7 3700x

Gigabyte x570 Aorus Xtreme

32gb g skill trident z

MSI reference 2080 ti

Never mind. It was the fan hub that comes with the motherboard. re-seating the usb cable appears to have worked. We'll see if it starts up again.
