.proto to .py file conversion

Hey! I've been trying really hard to create a .py file from a .proto file. I've tried everything, all I get is "Missing output directives" or "No input file" even if i mention the proper file path with file name. I was following this article https://www.edureka.co/blog/tensorflow-object-detection-tutorial/ . It says ..""path_of_protobuf's bin"./bin/protoc object_detection/protos/" . Nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP!
