Server pc for dedicated streaming/recording.

So my got an opportunity to get some hardware cheap. S30 thinlstations, not sure of the complete layouts of the ones there.

But wondering about the cpu power, being an lga2011 board I believe. Should be an M056 model. Friend bought one, said it’s an e5 2600 something.

So would it potentially be better than a 4770k or could I get a cpu for it that could be? It’s $50 so I wouldn’t mind getting a better cpu if need be.

LGA 2011 can have up to 10 cores on 2011-1, and 22 (or was it 24) on 2011-3, for recording your current rig is already overkill, so I don't think you need an upgrade.

E5-2600 isn't very specific, they go from 4 cores all the way to 22
