Hello !
I recently bought an MSI Armor Rx 570 8Gb !
The issue is that it's running constantly under its max memory clock (1750 Mhz) and i'm assuming it is the reason the card is running quite hot on idle (55-56 degrees) with idle fans, also i am assuming it uses more power than it should be using !
Normally, under low load, when i'm just on chrome it should use minimum clock speed no ? and then ramp up to high memory clock when i'm gaming as any other setting on the graphics card ? automatically ? no ?

Is there a fix for that ? or should i do something manually ? and how to do it, i am not an expert in underclocking or overclocking, i usually never change the factory settings !

Thank you, have a nice day !

So you have two monitors? That's usually why the memory is at max clocks. As for temps, MSI Armour Cooper's are just hot garbage

Yes i have two monitors .. so that's the issue ?
Also, i don't like Armor that much either .. but where i live there isn't much choice, you buy what there is on the market sadly !

try use only one monitor. If that solves the problem, replug the second monitor. Sometimes it's just a glitch, sometimes it's a flaw in the driver and not much you can do with that.

I dont think it contributed to the high idle temperatures tho, seeing how the core stays at idle.

I've seen many forums that an Rx 570 runs between 25 and 35 at idle depending on the case .. i think that 55 is way too high, i have a Masterbox MB520 RGB from Cooler master with 3 intakes and 1 exhaust (it comes this way out of the box) i think it should be alright for temps no ?

The reason people's cards run cool is they are not Armour coolers. I cannot stress enough how poor it's performance is.

And yes, when a GPU driver detects two displays it will keep clocks higher so that you don't have artifacting it tearing on the desktop. That part is normal. It also generates slightly  more heat at idle

I bet their RX 570s arent nearly as bad as the Armor.

Thank you ! Do you have an Rx 570 yourself ? would like to know the temps of other manufacturers

I only had the RX 570 G1 Gaming from Gigabyte, it idled at about 60C (fans turned off) and maxed out at about 78C
