Is cooling without a kill coil for a day or two OK!?

Hi guys quick question I'm hoping this will be a quick easy one. I just wanna clear a couple off things up for peace of mind.

I am going to be flushing my system for the first time, as it has turned a tint of yellow within a few months.

I believe this to be because I did not flush the system adequately on first install and somthing has leached from the soft tubing.

I used XSPC uv clear fluid, I have another bottle on the way and I was wondering if I can get away with using distilled water for a few days without a kill coil?

Now I have read a bunch of stuff saying distilled is all I need, but I don't think I can actually get a kill coil in this and if I did I wouldn't get it back out again as it looks like a sealed unit.

Tbh I removed my kill coils since they can cause issues in some circumstances. I now just use a biocide and anti-corrosion mix and I havent had any issues.

Ok cool, thanks, but whilst I wait for more Coolent do you think it will be OK using JUST distilled water, no biocide etc, until new Coolent arrives?

Probably, might want to flush it before adding the new stuff, but you wont hurt anything running just distilled for a week or 2.

Kill Coils are actually pointless. You will be fine running straight distilled water for a few days to flush the system before your new coolant arrives.
