is a normal hdmi cable good enough for my monitor?

i have a ultrawide 34 inch 1440p 60herz monitor and am asking if a normal hdmi cable is suficient to run it? i only get 50 hrz for some reason

CPU: Intel I9-9900K Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus XI CODE RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance PRO 3200MHZ GPU: Asus ROG 2080ti OC Storage: Samsung 970pro 2x1TB, 2Tb HDD Case: Lian Li PC O11 dynamic, Cooling:custom loop incoming, for now 360 rog ryujin!

Most 3440×1440 monitors are limited to 50 Hz over HDMI. It's not because of the cable.

ok understand ordering a diplayportcable it is
