Motherboard for R5 3600

Hi everyone this is my first post,

I am seeking help to choose between the "Asus R.O.G. CROSSHAIR VI HERO"(147 eur) and the "Asus R.O.G. STRIX B450-F GAMING"(137 eur) motherboards for a ryzen 5 3600, which one would suit my gaming needs better? I usually play Forza Horizon 3, Fallout 4, Prey and Astroneer.

This is the list of parts i think i am going to buy https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZQrCpG

I am also going to buy a ryzen 3-1200 wich i will use to update the bios (if needed) and then i will implement it into my parents pc in an a320 Motherboard.

cheers,

Everything looks good.  I would get the Strix personally... Also you will need to flash the BIOS with the button behind your mobo and usb stick or else your CPU will not get recognized my friend.

Do you have a spare graphics card for your parents as well? BC If you plan to use the R1200 in their pc later, you'll need a dedicated GPU, as R1200 has no integrated graphics. Just asking.. : )

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
