Hello. I am GeneralTriton, but you can call me Triton for short.

So I have a problem with my Laptop, sometimes it just starts spamming random keys and it is driving me nuts! I try to play CS:GO and I start walking to the right, I go to my browser, and its spamming "dededededededed"!

Also, when I press the "Esc" button it takes me out of the game and to my home screen.

This Laptop comes pre-installed with Norton Anti-Virus, but I've downloaded, Avast, and MalwareBytes, and AdwCleaner! I run Custom Scans on my C and D Drive everyday but no virus is showing up.

Plus, I am so scared of getting a Virus that I use the Avast version of Chrome, mostly because like I said I'm scared and my chrome kept freezing and crashing, also I feel it is more secure.

I own a GS63 Stealth 8RE MSI Gaming Laptop, yes I am a Laptop person, mainly because I travel a lot. Would I like a Desk Top? Uh yeah but not right now.

Furthermore I've Factory Reset my Laptop to the MSI Default about 5 times, and hopefully never again, so thats why I'm here.

I will provide you with Gyzao Gifs.

I haven't tooken a gif of me pressing "Esc", I will do that when this happens again. Probably in 10 minutes or so...

Thank you, anything will help at this point I'm desperate... Thanks!

Sincerely,

GeneralTriton.

what do you mean by reset to msi default?

also, try clean install of windows 10

backup everything, then wipe your drive. then install from usb again.

make sure you know the windows 10 key before you wipe

The Laptop is installed with Windows 10

Sorry man, I'm a noob when it comes to this type of stuff.. Is there a video showing how to do this?

ok....

use this video as a guide but also use my instructions on top of the video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKbR6XT7fcA

  1. Backup everything (use backup software for this)
  2. double check everything is in your backup. your files will be deleted with this process
  3. download the windows 10 installer tool and install it to the flash drive https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
  4. follow video exactly up to 5:40
  5. choose customise settings
  6. follow instructions on screen
  7. done
  8. restore files etc from backup as needed

if the issue persists, this is a keyboard issue/driver issue. contact MSI
