yeah, one out of many that have tried.. loads of broken P12 fans.

i've broken 2 NF-F12s (BNIB), 2 NF-P12 and one NF-P14 (both used)

and just bit the bullet, masked the dawgshite of them and painted them.

painting can be successful when used sparingly. just not to allow the paint

to go on heavy and use light coats with fast strokes or an air brush with

pattern control.

What's the best way of taking the Noctua fans apart.
How much powdered RIT dye would I need to dye 15 fans. Blades red and frame Black.

not to be funny, but the only real way is to break them, but there is no guarantee to putting

them back together, properly.

one package can do all fans, but it depends on how much is lost in the process. because

the evaporation of the water is quick due to the temperatures and amount of time to

penetrate the material.

as for what you seek, it isn't going to happen.. they are tough fans and do not come apart

without damage. as other threads on this forum and others have described.

After reading all the threads about dying or painting these fans to a diff color, it begs to question why noctua still insists on using such ugly colors.
