I have the corsair carbide spec-01 case - it has a 150mm max cpu cooler clearance. Is that saying that the cooler, if it was >150mm, it would not fit as it hits the sidepanel; or that there is a space above 150mm that is advised for air coolers? I would think that it would be a physical max limit not a recommended max limit, but I hope I am wrong since I would kinda like to fit a CNPS9900 MAX in this case, but its a 152mm height cooler. Getting a new cooler would be far in the future, but I'm trying to pick out my options without getting a new case. FYI its going to be a i7 4930k (130w tdp) I need to cool and I have a corsair h60 cooler, so cooler advice would be nice. I am trying to stick with this case, but modified I could fit a 280 aio cooler like the Kraken x62 in the front (for an extra 50$ in drive holder replacements). Not sure if here or air cooling would be the better place for this, but with the case question as the focal point I thought here.
