I am building off my current PC but practically all I will be keeping is the mother board and the ram accompanying it. I believe if I were to purchase something like the rosewald midtower atx with a 1tb harddrive at 7200rpm ,a msi geforce gtx 1060 from new egg, and a  evga power supply I would be within ny current 300 $ budget would that be a worthwhile investment and is the msi gtx 1060 3 gb a good entry level card?

Attach a pcpartpicker.com list of your current specs

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

since the 3gb version is really a cut down to a rx570-ish perf.. not quite worth it when considering new

gtx1660/ti is much promising

if your budget is limited I would recommend staying away from buying a new case. Do yourself a favor and get some solid state storage to accompany the hard disk.

1060 is a great entry level card if you're gaming at 1080p. If 4k is an absolute must then i suggest trying to find a used 1070.
