What is a WiFi card?

What are the advantages of one?

If I use ethernet is there any reason to buy a wifi card?

What interface does it use?

A WiFi card is like a sound card but different intentions.

So don't buy it if you can connect with Ethernet. Most Ethernet cables and connectors have a speed of 1 GB/s. It depends of how much speed you are receiving from your internet provider. The good WiFi cards have have max 13 MB/s but in reality WiFi goes either in 2.4G(400Mbps) or 5G(867Mbps).

As I said. DO NOT get a WiFi card if you have Ethernet.

Most WiFi cards use PCIe x1 but they can also be a lot smaller and use USB.
