Hello, i built a dual xeon pc for different applications, BUT! for some reason it wont play games

i had the same specs on a other super micro mobo and it ran perfectly fine! but it doesnt on this board for some reason

i am using a SuperMicro X8DAH+-F Mobo

and 2: Xeon x5680 cpus 6 core @3.33mhz

48gbs of ecc ddr3 ram

and a gtx 1060 ssc 6gb gpu

os: windows 10 pro

.... i normally just edit photos and videos and on occasion 3d modeling.

the mobo has a 5520 chipset i believe . but i cant get it to run steam games or Fortnite and other games, well technically they run but they lag and run around 5 to 10 fps.

but if i run different emulators or outsource games they run fine at 60-120fps.

ANY IDEAS WHY THIS HAPPENS??

3.33MHz may be your issue!

Kidding, I know you meant GHz :p.

Thats quite strange. Are all your chipset drivers installed? Those chips have no reason to be performing so weakly. What clock speeds are your CPU's at, as well as your 1060? My bet currently is Windows Scheduler assigning cores across the 2 CPU's and you're being bottle necked by the chipset.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

i updated my drivers for my 1060 and for my chipset , but for some reason all games from different platforms like steam, epic games, origin stutter at 10 fps but on my previous mobo had a 5500 chipset had no problem playing fortnite at 135fps.

my 1060 is at stock speeds, and my cpus are currently at 3.33ghz and if i try to overclock its at 3.8ghz. how can i stop my chipset from bottlenecking my cpus?
