1000cc is about 1/4 of a gallon...so you'll definitely be needing more of that. I would just go with distilled + PTnuke/kill coil.

If you choose to use a premix or coolant you do not need a kill coil or biocide additive. You can drop the single 140 and 120mm rads.

Error: 410

welcome to the LinusTechTips forums and the water cooling section!

as detailed, he did say that there would be know need in building such, hence the title "Overkill".

unless you are needing a workstation build to use 4x GPU it'll just kinda be an e-peen build.

for a first build, I usually suggest just cooling the CPU, get it dialed in and cooling to the best

temperature (lowest) and fan speed noise tolerance. then later add in the GPU(s) and other

radiators. this way you know what the system is capable of and what deficiencies you might

run into during the upgrade (temperatures mainly)

the list is pretty close (nix the single fan rads), coolant should be distilled water for 1st build

(mainly flushing and leak check and first maintenance) then, if not satisfied with "look" then to

dyes/pre-mix.

there are other USA water cooling distributors:

performance pcs

sidewinders

jabtech

xoxide

NCIX.com (Canadian site) does, not the USA site.

if your gonna use a pre-mixed coolant like the koolance stuff, you do not need any extra anti-corrosion/biocide stuff.  premixed coolants have biocide and anti-corrosive chemicals in them already. with the amount of rads and components your probly going to need about 700-1000ml of coolant. plus its nice to have extra to top up your loop, since most hoses will absorb some fluid and slowly let it evaporate. also you didn't mention how big of reservoir youll have so don't forget to add its volume to how much coolant you need.
