Hello.

Recently I've been noticing performance issues on my laptop (a Gigabyte Aero 15X with GTX1070-MaxQ). Specifically, whenever I am running something slightly graphically intensive, a process called Desktop Window Manager starts using a ton of GPU power, and always on the integrated GPU (GPU 0). I rarely play games on my laptop, but today I booted up Civ 6 to play with some friends. when I alt-tabbed to watch a youtube video while waiting for the game to start, all of Windows was really choppy. I checked task manager and apparently my system is being bottlenecked by the integrated GPU. Is there a way I can get these intensive processes moved to the Nvidia GPU and can anyone tell me what they are and why they need to much processing power?

I attached a screenshot of Task Manager for reference.

Thanks for any help.
