shadowplay is turning itself off

hi, 

I've been having this really really annoying issue with nvidia shadowplay at the moment. Every time I enable instant replay, it turns itself off/disables itself and I'm also not able to use the recording feature at all. 

I tried uninstalling geforce experience and I also updated my drivers to the newest version and I had a little luck with the issue stopping, but then it started happening again and I have no idea what the deal is. Does anyone know whats wrong or share this issue? I'm really eager to fix this problem and any replies are appreciated.
