PC Not posting

My current issue is that i can't get it to POST.

 

When I first built it 2 days ago, it was booting, however kept reaching BSOD. Then, all of a sudden, I get no POST whatsoever.

 

If I check the motherboard, it appears to hang on the CPU_LED light, which checking the manual, says theres an issue with the CPU. I've made sure the 8 pin CPU connector is connected properly, and have checked both the CPU and socket for damage. All looks clear.

 

I have also tried each stick of RAM on it's own and still no POST.  I've also cleared the CMOS using the CLRTC jumper, no results.

 

Any help / advice would be much appreciated

I hope that you haven’t fried the motherboard or cpu.

Although z270 boards are backwards compatible, I would not use it with a 6th gen cpu.
