If your board doesn't support it, then you can get something like this https://www.amazon.com/ADWITS-Adapter-Supports-Bifurcation-Compatible/dp/B07KFX8287/ or if you want boot support, something like this https://www.amazon.com/High-Point-SSD7103-Bootable-Controller/dp/B07S8F1BGJ/

Not sure if you saw my edit, but if you want the array to be bootable, you'll need a card with boot support.

Anywho, it looks like your board has 2 PCIe m.2 slots, which means you should be able to do a software Raid within Windows through Storage Spaces. Only downside is you won't be able to boot from it.

Bear in mind, if you're planning on running games off the array, you probably won't see much of a performance gain. Raid is good for increasing read/write speeds, but it doesn't do much for access times or file decompression, which is more important for game load times. This is the reason why a SATA SSD is only a few seconds slower than a PCIe SSD at worst. PCIe SSD's are so fast with their read/write speeds that other things start to become the bottleneck, such as the SSD controller, or even the CPU.

so you think i would be better off with a raid controller than? i would like to boot from it for sure,if just for convenience, mostly doing it just to say i did it lol not really for the performance gains,,my brother and i are in a kind of competition with each other and always compare our benchmarks so im pretty sure the raid setups will kill his scores on crystal disc bench and others lol

Before you buy any adapters, try following this guide here https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/how-to-install-two-m2-ssds-in-raid-0-on-maximus-ix-motherboards/

From the looks of things, you might be able to do a Raid array with m.2's without an expansion card.
